Bud Mark is a revolutionary tool, with intentional focus on vocational qualifications, to support the timely process of evaluating learners work and writing feedback, all within a timely manner to ensure Learners stay engaged.
It is designed with the human in the loop, with checks and balances to ensure humans are verifying the output before giving it to your Learners.
Rubrics are at the heart of it, they ensure the AI is standardised and aligned with your expectations. The more detail and better-quality Rubrics, the better the evaluation and feedback will be.
All information is stored within the UK, and is not shared with third party AI models or tools.
Getting Started
Once signed up, Bud will:
- Create your Bud Mark tenant, once setup your primary owner will receive a registration email.
- Link up Bud Mark to you live Bud tenancy and enable the feature.
You can now get going with creating & testing your Rubrics in Bud Mark!
Once you have published a Rubric, link it to an activity and programme in Bud. Bud will apply its typical propagation rules to apply the Rubric to any live learners.

Best Practices
To make the most out of Bud Mark, we think you should:
- Verify your Rubric before allowing trainers at it by using Bud Marks ‘Test submissions’. Using existing Learners real work is a great way to do this!
- Train your teams on Bud Mark. Ensure trainers understand it is creating that initial set of feedback, and they should still review it.
- Understand Bud Marks limitations. Bud Mark is best placed to evaluate long-form answers and essays, especially where you’re evaluating Learners knowledge.
- Provide your Rubrics with detailed descriptions, to ensure it hits the mark.
