Aim Dates Management
We have added the exempted aims to the Apprenticeship Dates page of the application. These will be displayed under the live aims. Please note that you will not be able to edit the start & end dates or add the delivery owner for these aims as they have been exempted. To unexempt the aims, navigate to the previous page.
Turnitin Integration - Enterprise
We will soon be launching our integration with Turnitin Similarity. This integration enables trainers to check Learner's work for plagiarism within the Bud platform, streamlining and simplifying the process with fewer manual steps required.
We will share more information on when you can access this integration over the following days.
Further reading can be found in the following articles:
Please note, to use this integration, you will need to already be a Turnitin customer with a valid License.

New Report - Duplicate ULNs
We have added a new report to the ILR Reconciliations suite to help you identify and monitor potential duplicate ULNs within your ILR files.
The report highlights cases where the same ULN is associated with multiple learners who have different Apprentice_SKs and dates of birth. This may indicate an ILR data issue, as duplicate ULNs can result in learners being incorrectly merged in the ILR.
Once a duplication is corrected in Bud, the affected learner will no longer appear in this report.
The report includes all learners, including those toggled off from the ILR. By default, only learners currently included in the ILR are shown, but this can be adjusted using the “Include in ILR” slicer.
QAR Minor Accuracy Enhancement
We have made a minor change to the QAR calculation to trim spaces from LearnAimRef numbers. This will help with the lookups for a small number of learners in our QAR Calculations with an improvement to QAR accuracy at a qualification level for some Providers.
Standard Reports - Small Enhancements
A couple of adjustments have been made within the Standard Report Suite:
- "Last Completed Learning Support Review" has been added as a field to the Learning Support page to help create a singular view for monitoring Learning Support.
- Simple Achievement Rates have been amended to include the current academic year.
Coming Soon - ILR Compliance Reporting
We have a brand new enterprise reporting suite due to be released in the coming days. This report suite highlights ILR Validation Errors and Warnings and key FRM reports as defined by the DfE.
ILR Validation Rules
This initial release will contain the top identified ILR Validation rules, however we will continue to implement additional rules in future iterations to give you a full early view of potential Errors and Warnings in your ILR. You can use this report to identify data errors in your ILR before submission the the DfE, giving you the opportunity to resolve these throughout the month and minimise the month end rush as well as identify issues with learners not yet included in the ILR file. As with all replicated DfE reports, these should be used as a guide to assist with early identification only and DfE files should remain your final source of truth.
FRM Reports
We have also included a report to highlight learners which could be identified as queries against the DfE FRM reports. Giving you the opportunity to resolve any that can be before submission and have sight of potential FRM numbers early in the month. Please note, we only run the FRM logic within your own tenancy's ILR, many of the rules from the DfE will also check across all training providers so may have more learners included than our reports, however we hope these will allow you to get ahead of any potential data errors within your own ILR before submission is made to the DfE. As with all replicated DfE reports, these should be used as a guide to assist with early identification only and DfE files should remain your final source of truth.
