How to change your password

Introduction

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to change your password on the Bud platform. It covers both resetting a forgotten password and updating your current password in your Bud account. By following these steps, users can maintain the security of their accounts and protect their personal information. 

How to: Change your password

It is possible to change your password in two ways. 

1. Forgotten Password: 

If you have forgotten your Bud password, you can reset it by selecting the forgotten password option at login:

Enter your email address and select reset password:

An email will be sent to the entered email address, it will contain a link which is valid for only 12 hours. Click the link and choose a new password which meets the minimum requirements.

Invalid Token

If you try to change your password and receive an 'invalid token' error, it is normally for one of the following reasons:

  1. The password reset link has expired, you will need to complete the steps above again
  2. The steps above have been completed more than once and you are not using the most recent link

2. Editing your Password

  • If you wish to change your password, once logged in go to the account section:
  • Select edit, complete the new details and select ‘change password’:
