This article guides employers on how to search for learners and filter by status within the Bud employer portal. It explains how to navigate to the learners’ section, use key values for searching, and apply status filters to refine results. By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and monitor their learners’ progress.

How to: Search for a Learner
Once you have signed in to your ‘Employer’ account, click on the ‘Learners’ tab and then into the search box. As an employer, when searching for any of your learners you will be able to do so by using any of the several key values:
- Name
- Programme
- Employer
- Trainer
- Bud ID
- ULN
In addition, you can also simplify your search by filtering the learner status, for example, by those who are ‘In Progress’ or ‘In End Point Assessment’, etc.
Once you have the list of your learners, you can also sort them by ascending or descending values, by clicking on the symbol next to the ‘Learner’ column as shown in the image below.
