Introduction

Bud Messaging is a communication tool tailored for trainers, learners, and employers, enabling smooth interaction throughout the learning process.

The key feature is the capability for users to send messages and engage in conversations, fostering collaboration where trainers offer guidance, learners seek help, and employers stay updated on their teams' progress.

Bud Messaging enhances communication transparency, providing a clear record of interactions for auditing purposes. By involving employers, it bridges the gap between training and real-world application, promoting a more engaged, integrated learning approach.

Additionally, Bud Messaging includes safeguarding tools to ensure secure communication, vital for maintaining a safe learning environment.

Bud Messaging complements our Activity messages, by providing two levels of communication; the granular activity level between Trainer and Learner, and the higher holistic level, with the Employer throughout that Learners journey.

This capability is in addition to the Activity Messaging, guidance on this can be found here

Users

The following users can make use of Bud Messaging:

  • Trainers
  • Messaging Administrators
  • Learners
  • Employers

Changes to a Learners Trainer

We know that trainers change, and we know that continuous flow of communication and knowledge is really important, so when a Learners Trainer changes, the existing Trainer will be removed from the conversation with that Learner, and replaced by the new trainer.

This means that new trainer has visibility of the existing communication and can pick up from where they left off.

Changes to a Learners Employer

A Learners Employer changing works different to the Trainer changing. This is grounded in an information security principle, and means the new Employer will not have visibility of the existing Employers conversations.

So, if a Learners existing Employer changes, the conversation will be 'locked' and put into a read-only mode. The Trainer will need to initiate a new conversation with the new Employer if they need to.
