Evidence Pack
Following the launch of our new Evidence Pack feature last month, we have added an additional enhancement to the Portfolio and Activities Flagged for EPA packs: Messages.
Where messages have been exchanged between the learner and trainer on an activity, a new "Messages" file will be added to the activity subfolder in both the Portfolio and Activities Flagged for EPA packs. This will include feedback relating to submissions made for the activity.
If no messages have been sent for an activity, then there will be no "Messages" file included in that activity's subfolder.

Bug Fixes
In this release, we have fixed the following bugs:
Performance issues when large programme propagation occurs - we have addressed this issue relating to slow performance when propagating large programme changes. The rest of the platform should continue to operate a normal level while propagation occurs.
Incorrect activities showing in the application edit flow - we have fixed an issue where activity changes made at programme-level were then incorrectly propagating to in-flight learners when editing the application.

Standard Reports
We have added a number of small enhancements to the standard reports in this release:
ALS Slicer – A slicer to identify learners with ALS currently provided has been added to the following pages to allow you to more closely monitor learners who may need additional support:
- In-flight learners
- Monthly starts
- OTJ Progress
- Activity Progress
- Functional skills
- Component progress
- Active learning
Average number of submissions – a card has been added to the All submissions page detailing the average number of submissions per activity, this card follows standard functionality so is dynamic to the filtering applied to the page, allowing you to analyse the average number of submissions against an activity for various areas of your delivery.
Date of Break - For learners who have multiple breaks, reporting of the actual date of break will now show the correct date for each individual break and not the most recent.
Data Warehouse Fields
In this release we have added the following new field to the Data Warehouse
Table Name | Column Name | Description | Data Type |
Learning Plan | Date Returned to Learning from Break | Date learner returned to learning from their most recent break | date |
Note for ETL and Report developers
We are considering the removal of [Presentation].[Application (Dates)] in a future release, as this has for some time been superseded by [Presentation].[Application Status History]. Please get in contact with your CSM if you think this would cause you any difficulties in your ETL or own reporting suite.
Coming Soon
We are currently working on a change to the signature collection method in Apprenticeship applications.
We decided not to include this update in the May release as we wanted additional time to ensure rigorous testing of the new functionality was completed. We expect this to be released in June.
In order to provide the most compliance driven platform possible, we will in the near future be making changes to the Apprenticeship enrolment documents to bring them into line with other areas of the Bud platform. Having already updated the document signature components of OST enrolment and reviews, we will be rolling out the same signature capture method to the Apprenticeship application documents.
Training provider users will be able to request a Learner or Employer signature via email, or click to confirm the signature has been obtained offline.
To add a signature, users will type their signature and select one of two fonts.
