Introduction
This article explains how to send messages regarding activities. It covers the steps to navigate to the relevant activity, access the submissions and messages area, and send a message without needing to upload a file. Trainers receive notifications of these messages in their dashboard and the learner’s portfolio.

How to: Send a Message on an Activity
Navigate to the relevant activity in a learning plan and click view to access the submissions and messages area as outlined below:
Please note:
- You do not have to upload a file to send a message.
- Trainers will receive notifications of messages in their dashboard tab and within a learner's portfolio.
- Learners will receive an email notification and a notification in the application.
