Overview
Bud Support can transfer programmes between your Test and Live tenancies on your behalf.
This is particularly useful if you want to build, amend, and test programmes before publishing them in your live environment and enrolling learners.
Important: Programmes can only be transferred when they are in a Draft state. If your programme is already published, you’ll need to clone it first. Cloning creates a draft copy, which can then be transferred.
Who can request this?
- System Administrators
- Programme Managers
Information required
To process a programme transfer request, the proramme(s) must be in a draft state and support must be able to identify the programme and understand where it needs to be moved.
When submitting a request, please provide:
- Programme URL(s) for the draft programme(s)
- The current tenancy (i.e live or test)
- The tenancy it should be moved to (i.e live or test)
What happens next?
Once Support has the information needed to identify the programme and the required destination tenancy, the request will be reviewed and processed. If any required information is missing, Support may contact you for clarification.
Bud recommends
If you the programme you wish to transfer contains activity library activities, they will break. We recommend adding the activity library activities once the programme is in it's final destination tenancy.
