Introduction
This guide explains how to edit activities within a published standard apprenticeship programme on the Bud platform. It covers the steps to modify programmes, activities, and other components, ensuring that updates are accurately reflected in enrolments and learning plans. By following this guide, programme managers can maintain up-to-date and compliant training programmes, enhancing the overall learning experience for apprentices.

How to: Edit a published Standards programme
- Go to your Programmes list and select to 'View' the standard apprenticeship programme
- When ready, click 'Edit programme' found in the top right corner
- You are now able to edit the programme name, and the activities within the programme
- By making an edit, this will put the programme into a status of 'in edit'
How to: Edit a manually added activity

Find the activity you wish to edit

Click the edit symbol found next to the activity name

Make the required adjustments

Click 'Save'
Edit an activity from the library - target start and end date only
- Find the activity you wish to edit
- Click the edit symbol found next to the activity name
- Make the adjustments to the target start/end months
- Click 'Save'
Note: All other components of an activity from the library can only be edited in the library as the source of truth.
Add new manual activities
When editing a published programme and in the activity tab, you will now see the 'Add manual activity' button.
- Click 'Add manual activity'
- Complete the set up of your activity.
- Click 'Save'.
Add new activities from the library
When editing a published programme and in the activity tab, you will now see the 'Add activity from the library' button.
- Click 'Add activity from the library'
- Select the activities you wish to add to your programme.
- Click 'Add to programme'
- Activity/ies will now appear in the activity list with the red alert to 'Set the target start and end date'
- Click the edit symbol.
- Adjust the target start and end date.
- Click 'Save'.
Removing activities from the programme
- Find the activity you wish to edit
- Click the edit symbol found next to the activity name
- Scroll to the bottom of the activity detail
- Click 'Remove activity'/'Delete activity'
Mapping to assessment criteria

Select the activity from the activity list

On the right hand side, use the tick boxes for the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Click 'Save' on the bottom right.
Republish the programme
Once you have completed your edits, go to the 'Summary' tab.

- Review the programme and confirm you are happy.
- Select 'Request approval'.
- A Programme Manager will then need to review the programme and select 'Publish' if happy, or 'Withdraw approval' if further work is required.
