Introduction
Bud's integration with CENTURY provides a seamless experience for the training provider and learner to complete Initial Assessments (IAs) during the enrolment process.
This article explains how you set-up the integration in Bud, enabling you to add CENTURY IAs to your programmes and applications.
Please note that you must already be a CENTURY customer before you can use the integration in Bud and you will be required to provide your CENTURY API Key to set-up the integration.
Permissions required
- Tenant Administrator
Please note that the 'Tenant Administrator' permission must be assigned to any user responsible for setting up the CENTURY integration in Bud.
You can find this permission in the 'Additional Permissions' section of the User Management page.
How to: set-up the CENTURY integration
Once assigned the correct permission, users will be able to set-up the CENTURY integration in Bud by navigating to the 'Administration' tab in the side-bar, then clicking the 'Tenant Settings' page.
There is a section dedicated to the CENTURY integration.
You must enter the API Key provided by CENTURY to establish the connection. If you don't have an API Key, please contact your CENTURY account manager.
Once you've entered your API Key, ckick the 'Test Connection' button. This will validate your API Key with CENTURY and, once successful, establish the connection between Bud and CENTURY .
As part of this process, Bud will create the following for your tenancy:
- One cohort per IA subject (English, maths, and digital skills) for each academic year available in CENTURY.
Once the connection test and cohort creation has been completed, your integration has been set-up ready to use. The integration status will updated to 'Active' and a preview of the last few digits of your API Key will be visible.
