Release 5.0 - 6th August 2024

Customisable Self-Enrolment Page

You can now add custom content to Bud’s self-enrolment process!

This new functionality allows you to add programme-level custom content on a new section in the self-enrolment journey for both Apprenticeship and OST.

For Apprenticeships, this will be shown as the final page in the self-enrolment process after the learner has submitted their self-enrolment. Learners will be able to return to the page up until the sign-up meeting has been scheduled, giving them plenty of time to take in all the content you want to share with them.

For OST, this will be shown as a new accordion dropdown at the top of the self-enrolment page. Learners will be able to view this throughout their self-enrolment journey and return to it after they have submitted their application.

To find out more about how to add custom onboarding content, please see this article.

To see how your custom content could look in the Apprenticeship self-enrolment, please watch the demo below:

This is an Enterprise tier feature. If you are interested in a trial, please speak to your Customer Success Manager.

Learner RAG Rating

For Customers who take advantage of our Learner RAG rating feature, we have enhanced the information captured to include ‘Root Cause’, ‘Review Date’ and ‘Actions’. This additional information will also be displayed within the RAG History.

For more information on Learner RAG Rating, please see this article.

This information will be included in the DWH in the following release.

Learning Plan - Activity Completed Date

In this release, we have included the Activity completed date on the Learning Plan list of activities page, for Learners, Employers and Training Provider users.

Activities that are not Completed, will not show the completion date.

Programme Delivery Model

In order to support changes to active learning requirements announced in the most recent Apprenticeship funding rules, we have introduced the functionality to add a “programme delivery model” type when building or editing a programme.

The programme delivery type, if selected, will then be surfaced on the learner’s learning plan document.

Programme delivery model information applied to existing programmes will be retrospectively added to learner’s documents upon re-generation through the edit-flow or Living Training Plan. If no programme delivery method is selected then this section of the document will not be shown.

24/25 ILR specification

In response to the most recently published ILR specification, we have added a “valid until 31/07/24” label to the following National Learner Monitoring (NLM) code:

  • “21 - Learner in receipt of 16-19 tuition fund"

Standard Reports – Content Insights Report

We are excited to announce the addition of the Content Insights report under Standard Reports > Admin > Programme Management. This dynamic report provides detailed insight into feedback provided by learners on activities per the Content Insights feature, allowing you to effectively monitor learner satisfaction and review their comments. Harness the power of this tool to enhance your programme management and ensure high-quality learning experiences. Please note that the "Rate your Content" feature must be enabled to access this data.
