Q: When would the feature be live?
We are planning to release this feature in our scheduled October release on 14th October 2025
Q: Will there be a way to rearrange the fields before exporting it? For example, if I need the programme the learner is on to be field one, is there/ will there be a way to do that?
The structure of the fields has been arranged so similar categories of data will export together in an easily readable format however if you'd like to re-arrange any fields to better suite your needs, this can easily be done in the file once exported
Q: Can we connect this feature directly to Excel as a web source to pull the data directly without having to go into Bud?
If looking for a direct connection into excel, we would suggest connecting directly through the datawarehouse via PowerQuery in Excel. For more complex queries where more data would be needed, our recommended tool would be PowerBI. This feature has not currently been set up to allow direct connections.
Q: Will the available data be live? Or is this data still subject to the data warehouse refresh limitations?
This data pulls straight in from the datawarehouse and so is subject to the datawarehouse refresh schedule which can be found in the FAQ section here
Q: What considerations has Bud provided regarding potential performance degradation or slower response times for customers accessing the data warehouse directly after this feature's rollout?
Our previously introduced scale-out solution implemented to enhance performance for our Data Warehouse users will aid with datawarehouse stability. We are also conducting a thorough load test throughout the development of this feature to ensure access is not affected.
