Introduction
This article will explain how to enable the Evidence Pack feature and assign the user permissions needed to request and download evidence packs.
Here is a video overview:
Data Protection Impact Assessment
As this feature involves downloading personal data, we strongly encourage you to conduct your own DPIA review before enabling this feature.
In particular, you may want to consider where data will be saved, who will access to it, and how long it will be kept.
Enabling the feature
The Evidence Pack feature is a Premium-level feature. Please contact your customer success manager to enable it.
Assigning permissions
We have created a new user permission for the Evidence Pack feature that can be assigned in user management.
Without this permission assigned, users will not be able to view the Evidence Pack page to request or download any packs.
There are separate permissions for each evidence pack type:
- Application Documents
- Portfolio
- Activities Flagged for EPA
This is to ensure that users can only request & download the specific packs you want users to manage.
Please note that assigning a new Evidence Pack permission will not overwrite the existing permissions within the platform. For example, if a user cannot normally access a learner’s application, then assigning them the Application Documents evidence pack permission will not overwrite this and allow them to download the Application Documents evidence pack.
