How to: Set Learning Plan Exemptions
In the area below you are able to exempt individual units from a qualification, or exempt an entire functional skill:
- To view the units associated with a qualification select the qualification and click 'Edit', which will display the full list of units.
- To exempt an individual unit select 'Edit'. You will then be required to enter a reason for exempting the unit and confirm.
- When a unit is exempted, the number of credits and guided learning hours will be reduced. When all qualifications have been reviewed you can proceed to the next step.
Bud Recommends
If you do not know which units to exempt or whether to exempt Functional Skills at enrolment, you can always access this area post enrolment and exempt following sign-up. The same applies if an aim has been exempted under the premise the Applicant holds a valid APL. If this turns out not to be the case the aim can be added back, however, please note you will need to recollect signatures as you are editing application documents.
